DIAMOND ELEGANCE was withdrawn on 19.4.12 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore foot). Before being allowed to race again, DIAMOND ELEGANCE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. CALIFORNIA CHOICE shifted out at the start, resulting in EL ZONDA being taken out onto TOUCH GO which became unbalanced after being bumped on the hindquarters. A veterinary inspection of CALIFORNIA CHOICE after the race revealed that the horse was a “roarer” which had previously been reported. A veterinary inspection of GO BABY GO after the race did not show any significant findings. GO BABY GO, BEAR HERO and BLAZE KING were sent for sampling.
