HOME WITH GLORY began only fairly and then shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by AMBITIOUS TREASURE which shifted in after beginning very awkwardly. MAGNANIMOUS, which was leaning on the outside of its gate, began awkwardly. From the outside barrier, ABLE MAGIC was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. After initially being ridden along in the early stages, FOLLOW THE WIND was steadied passing the winning post on the first occasion when racing wide so as to obtain cover. Soon after passing the winning post on the first occasion, STORM UNICORN momentarily raced tight inside WIN ESPRIT which shifted in. ABLE MAGIC, which was following, got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of WIN ESPRIT. Passing the 1300 Metres, STORM UNICORN again raced tight inside WIN ESPRIT which was awkwardly placed inside the heels of SUNNY MORE. Rounding the Home Turn, STORM UNICORN shifted out and bumped WIN ESPRIT which became unbalanced. Approaching the 200 Metres, ABLE MAGIC was shifted in away from the heels of INFINITE COURAGE to improve its position. ABLE MAGIC was then held up for clear running between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres. ALWAYS SOMETHING was unable to obtain clear running until after the 200 Metres. Right on the finishing line, WIN ESPRIT shifted in and bumped ALWAYS SOMETHING. A veterinary inspection of HOME WITH GLORY and STORM UNICORN after the race did not show any significant findings. ALWAYS SOMETHING, MAGNANIMOUS and ABLE MAGIC were sent for sampling.
