10 HONG KONG DANCER N/A L Ho 8 117 64 --

Steward Report Predict Pace Map
HONG KONG DANCER was withdrawn on 22.10.13 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (inflamed left fore fetlock). Before being allowed to race again, HONG KONG DANCER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. As the start was effected, TURBO JEWELLERY was leaning on the outside of its stall, then began awkwardly, resulting in its rider, J Moreira, making heavy contact with the outside barrier gate. After this, TURBO JEWELLERY was taken across behind runners. FIRST SIGHT LOVE began awkwardly and in the early stages got its head up. From a wide barrier, GREAT CHARM was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. In the middle stages, when racing in the lead, DUAL HAPPY travelled keenly and proved difficult to settle. Passing the 200 Metres, FIRST SIGHT LOVE, which was closing off the race strongly, shifted in when being checked away from the heels of CHANCELLOR and in doing so bumped ONE OF A KIND. After this, FIRST SIGHT LOVE was checked away from the heels of DUAL HAPPY and CHANCELLOR when unable to obtain clear running behind those horses. Because of this, FIRST SIGHT LOVE was not tested over the final stages of the race. For some distance approaching and passing the 100 Metres, ONE OF A KIND was awkwardly placed close to the heels of DUAL HAPPY which was giving ground, resulting in ONE OF A KIND being unable to be fully tested. A veterinary inspection of DUAL HAPPY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. AMAZINGLY and TURBO JEWELLERY were sent for sampling.
