TIMELY ARRIVED and FLYING MONKEY bumped at the start. Shortly after the start, MEGA TREASURE shifted out and bumped GOLDEN KID. After the 700 Metres, TIMELY ARRIVED was awkwardly placed inside the heels of FLYING MONKEY which shifted in marginally. Near the 250 Metres, TIMELY ARRIVED got its head on the side and shifted out under pressure, resulting in FLYING MONKEY being inconvenienced. Passing the 100 Metres, URBAN CHIC raced tight outside E-SUPER as that horse was weakening. Passing the 50 Metres, THE JAZZ was shifted in away from the heels of LUCKY WAN FENG. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of E-SUPER, S Clipperton stated that his mount travelled comfortably until the 400 Metres, however, at this time immediately came under pressure and then, despite being hard ridden, failed to respond and weakened over the concluding stages. A veterinary inspection of E-SUPER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
