WUSHU CHAMPION was withdrawn on 8.9.17 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, WUSHU CHAMPION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. STAR OF HONG KONG lost ground when crowded for room on jumping between RED ELYSEES and SILVERFIELD which was taken in by BEAUT BEAUT which initially got its head on the side and shifted in away from MORETHANLUCKY and then raced tight inside that horse. After this, SILVERFIELD and BEAUT BEAUT, from wide barriers, were shifted across behind runners. When being steadied to obtain cover after the 1300 Metres, BEAUT BEAUT got its head up for some distance and proved difficult to settle. A veterinary inspection of STAR OF HONG KONG immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of STAR OF HONG KONG, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, STAR OF HONG KONG will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of THE FULL BLOOM and BEAUT BEAUT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MORETHANLUCKY and A BEAUTIFUL were sent for sampling.
