I’M THE WON FOR U began awkwardly and shortly after the start was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover. From wide barriers, IMPERIAL CONCORDE and PREMIUM CHAMPION were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners. In the early and middle stages, TURIN PEARL travelled wide and without cover and after the 1000 Metres was allowed to improve its position in order to cross CURLING LUXURY to its inside to race outside the leader FIVE STARS AGENT. As TURIN PEARL established a position outside FIVE STARS AGENT, that horse then shifted out into a one-off position passing the 900 Metres which resulted in TURIN PEARL having to remain racing in a three wide position without cover for the remainder of the race. Passing the 1300 Metres, FIVE STARS AGENT got its head up on a number of occasions when being steadied in the lead. FOREVER POSH got its head on the side and made the turn after the 1300 Metres awkwardly. Approaching the 1000 Metres, CAPE THE FAITH was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CURLING LUXURY. Passing the 400 Metres, SPICY KAKA was shifted to the outside of FIVE STARS AGENT after being awkwardly placed behind and inside the heels of that runner. Rounding the Home Turn, EXPEDITE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CAPE THE FAITH. IMPERIAL CONCORDE, which was following EXPEDITE, was held up behind that horse in consequence. After the race, K C Leung advised that EXPEDITE became unbalanced of its own accord near the 100 Metres. A veterinary inspection of CAPE THE FAITH immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious. A veterinary inspection of FOREVER POSH immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. FIVE STARS AGENT, SPICY KAKA and TURIN PEARL were sent for sampling.
