NOBLE DELIGHT shifted out at the start and bumped ELITE PATCH which in turn shifted out and made contact with the hindquarters of FORZA ANGEL. NOBLE DELIGHT then shifted in and bumped SUPREME PATROL.
From wide barriers, NAVAS, BEAUTY LOYAL and HANDSOME REBEL were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the 800 Metres, JOYFUL UNION was crowded for room inside SUPREME PATROL which was taken in by MIGHTY POWER which was then directed out abruptly to relieve the tightening to SUPREME PATROL and JOYFUL UNION. After this, MIGHTY POWER raced wide and without cover.
For some distance approaching and passing the 600 Metres, HANDSOME REBEL was awkwardly placed behind FEARLESS FIRE and then approaching the 500 Metres got its head up when being checked away from the heels of that horse.
Passing the 150 Metres, NAVAS was shifted to the inside of HAPPY WIN WIN which shifted out under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of STRATHCLYDE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
NOBLE DELIGHT, JOYFUL UNION and FEARLESS FIRE were sent for sampling.
