H Z TOURBILLON shifted in at the start, resulting in MOST WELCOME being crowded for room and taken in onto MERIDIAN GENIUS which became badly unbalanced after being bumped on the hindquarters by MOST WELCOME.
On jumping, HERCULES was steadied to obtain cover.
Shortly after the start, CAPITAL STAR shifted out and hampered MIG ENERGY and NOBLE STEED.
From a wide barrier, WINSTON’S LAD was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the turn near the 1000 Metres, H Z TOURBILLON travelled keenly when being steadied to obtain cover behind ALCARI.
After the 900 Metres, PING HAI GALAXY commenced to travel keenly and got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of CAPITAL STAR. MIG ENERGY, which was following PING HAI GALAXY, was checked away from the heels of that horse and shifted away from the heels of PING HAI GALAXY, resulting in MOST WELCOME and NOBLE STEED being hampered in consequence.
A veterinary inspection of HERCULES immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
THE RUNNER and CAPITAL STAR were sent for sampling.
