SIGHT SUCCESS jumped only fairly. DUKE WAI was slow to begin. Near the 800 Metres, WELLINGTON was briefly crowded for room by LUCKY SWEYNESSE which was taken in slightly by MASTER EIGHT which shifted in before being corrected by its rider, J Moreira. A short distance later, WELLINGTON, which was racing keenly, was then steadied to avoid LUCKY SWEYNESSE (Z Purton) which shifted in after racing tight to the inside of MASTER EIGHT. Z Purton was reprimanded. At the 400 Metres, DUKE WAI shifted out to improve and brushed FLAMING RIB. A veterinary inspection of FLAMING RIB and MASTER EIGHT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. LUCKY SWEYNESSE and COURIER WONDER were sent for sampling.
