AMAZING TEENS (E449): Near the 450 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. After the race, J McDonald stated that the horse enjoyed a good run in the event and after making a wide run on the Home Turn did not finish the race off strongly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. NORDIC STAR (G433): Bumped shortly after the start and then got its head up. Near the 250 Metres shifted out and away from CAN’T GO WONG after being taken out by that runner and bumped with PAKISTAN FRIEND. HARRY'S HERO (H332): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. CAN'T GO WONG (H087): Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres. MISSION BRAVO (E383): After the race, L Ferraris stated that his mount obtained a position outside the leader AFFIRM where it travelled comfortably. He said entering the Home Straight MISSION BRAVO failed to respond to his riding and when he was concerned that there was something amiss with the horse, he did not ride it out over the final 100 Metres of the event when not in a competitive position. Trainer M Newnham stated that the only explanation he could offer was that MISSION BRAVO may have been better suited by being placed under pressure sooner than it was in the event as it is somewhat one-paced and does not appreciate racing amongst other horses. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, MISSION BRAVO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race. PAKISTAN FRIEND (B370): Near the 600 Metres was steadied when crowded between CAN’T GO WONG and RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE which shifted out. Bumped near the 250 Metres. After the race, A Atzeni stated that with his mount coming back from the 2000 Metres and from a wide barrier, he was unable to obtain a more forward position and as a consequence settled in midfield. LUCKY BANNER (G354): Jumped awkwardly. Badly held up for clear running in the Home Straight behind AFFIRM and could not be ridden out until near the 50 Metres. RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE (C197): No report. BLISSFUL STAR (E168): Making the turn approaching the 1200 Metres shifted out when awkwardly placed on the heels of MISSION BRAVO. Sent for sampling post-race. ALL ARE MINE (H293): Bumped at the start. Held up for clear running until near the 250 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race. NINJA DERBY (H339): Jumped awkwardly. AFFIRM (H306): Jumped awkwardly and became unbalanced. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. YEE CHEONG WARRIOR (E025): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. M M NEBULA (G279): Bumped at the start and then crowded shortly after. For some distance after the 500 Metres raced tight between AMAZING TEENS and BLISSFUL STAR (A Hamelin) which shifted to the outside of MISSION BRAVO to secure clear running. A Hamelin was advised to exercise more care.
