BALLISTIC WIN (J040): Sent for sampling post-race. MASTER MASTERMIND (J024): Sent for sampling post-race. HANDSOME BOMB (H402): Shifted out at the start and was bumped on the hindquarters. After the event, A Atzeni stated that his mount travelled satisfactorily in the lead. He added in the Home Straight HANDSOME BOMB responded to his riding initially, but its run ended near the 150 Metres where it commenced to give ground and performed in a similar manner at its first up run on 15 September 2024. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MIGHTY STRENGTH (H450): After the event, A Hamelin could offer no explanation for his mount’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. Trainer P F Yiu stated that, in his opinion, MIGHTY STRENGTH is still immature and this may have been the reason for it performing below expectation as compared to its previous race starts. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of MIGHTY STRENGTH was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, MIGHTY STRENGTH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. DURHAM STAR (E082): Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by HANDSOME BOMB which shifted out. PEARL OF PANG'S (J447): Lay in in the Home Straight, resulting in its rider M Chadwick having to stop riding and straighten near the 200 Metres. JUMBO FORTUNE (G195): No report. EN PERFECTO (J409): Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between FOXHUNTER KING and BALLISTIC WIN which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. POCHETTINO (J149): After the 150 Metres lay out and became awkwardly placed on the heels of BALLISTIC WIN. FOXHUNTER KING (J044): Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. After the event, M L Yeung stated that his mount raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and came under pressure from the 600 Metres before giving ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, FOXHUNTER KING will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. YEE CHEONG RAIDER (J176): No report. SUPER TAICHI (J201): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the second occasion that SUPER TAICHI had bled, the horse is permanently barred from any further racing. FIGHT TIME (H409): On jumping was checked when crowded between POCHETTINO which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider and FOXHUNTER KING. After the event, A Badel stated that his mount became held up for clear running after the 400 Metres behind JUMBO FORTUNE and as a result he was obliged to shift FIGHT TIME to the outside where it obtained clear running near the 250 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race. PATCH OF LUCKY (J349): Prior to the start being effected reared, got both front legs over the starting gates and also struck its head and sustained a small abrasion to its upper gum. Acting on veterinary advice that the horse was not suitable to race, it was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Before being allowed to race again, PATCH OF LUCKY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
