GALVANIC (H147): After the event, H Bowman stated that he could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Trainer C Fownes advised that GALVANIC had pleased him leading into the race and could provide no explanation for the horse’s disappointing performance. The performance of GALVANIC was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, GALVANIC will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. FOREVER FOLKS (G463): Shortly after the start was momentarily crowded. ORIENTAL TYCOON (J112): The performance of ORIENTAL TYCOON, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ORIENTAL TYCOON will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SNOWALOT (E397): Bumped at the start. After the event, Z Purton stated that his mount, which was having its first race start on the All Weather track, did not appreciate racing on the surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. EXCEL WONGCHOY (J194): Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race. AMAZING AWARD (J236): Jumped only fairly and then from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. ON THE LASH (J182): Was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. After the event, K C Leung stated that it was not the intention to take up a more forward position, but ON THE LASH commenced well. He added the horse was having its first race start on the All Weather Track and showed good pace on the surface. HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER (J002): Shifted in at the start, made contact with SNOWALOT and became unbalanced. RUN RUN COOL (E322): No report. PALACE PAL (G172): No report. RELIABLE PROFIT (G462): Sent for sampling post-race.
