YOUTH POWER (H358): Jumped only fairly. ROYAL PRIDE (E351): Bumped shortly after the start. TRAVEL GOLF (H063): Sent for sampling post-race. FLYING PHANTOM (J086): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. LUCKY SYMPHONY (J089): After the race, A Atzeni could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HAPPY SOUL (G249): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. NEW POWER (H325): Jumped awkwardly. Near the 850 Metres shifted in when racing greenly and was steadied away from SHINKANSEN. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <5/1/2024 Additional Veterinary Reports> NEW POWER, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. NEW POWER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C W Chang this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, NEW POWER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. MY INTELLIGENT (G031): Between the 300 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running behind COLONEL. Sent for sampling post-race. COLONEL (D090): No report. SHINKANSEN (H277): Bumped shortly after the start. Sent for sampling post-race.
