SCOTCH TYCOON (G088): Was bumped at the start and then raced tight to the inside of HARMONY FIRE (H Bowman). H Bowman was advised to exercise more care. Was bumped near the 650 Metres. Leaving the 450 Metres was bumped and taken wider. Bumped at the 300 Metres. HARMONY FIRE (E175): Was bumped by CIRCUIT SEVEN inside the 50 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race. SERGEANT PEPPER (E432): Near the 100 Metres raced tight to the inside of CIRCUIT SEVEN as that runner shifted in when improving to the inside of HARMONY FIRE. LIFE IS GOOD (H118): Crowded shortly after the start. Near the 650 Metres was checked away from BEAUTY DESTINY. Near the 450 Metres was steadied away from SAVVY DELIGHT, shifted out and made contact with SUPER FAST DRAGON. After the race, Apprentice Y L Chung reported that his mount raced keenly throughout the event and refused to settle. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SAVVY DELIGHT (E386): Crowded for room shortly after the start. In the early stages raced keenly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. G ONE EXCELLENT (E359): At the 300 Metres shifted out and made contact with SCOTCH TYCOON. BEAUTY DESTINY (H281): In the early part of the Home Straight lay in behind OVERSUBSCRIBED and proved reluctant to shift to that runner’s outside. Continued to lay in for the remainder of the event. After the race, M Chadwick reported that his mount over-raced throughout the event and refused to settle. He said for some distance in the middle stages his mount got its head up when being steadied away from OVERSUBSCRIBED. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. OVERSUBSCRIBED (C361): No report. SUPER FAST DRAGON (G456): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 750 Metres commenced to race keenly when steadied away from LIFE IS GOOD, shifted out and made contact with SCOTCH TYCOON near the 650 Metres. Near the 450 Metres was bumped and became unbalanced. After the race, L Hewitson reported that from the 500 Metres his mount was bumped on a number of occasions when racing tight between LIFE IS GOOD and SCOTCH TYCOON and as a consequence did not finish the race off as expected. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race. CIRCUIT SEVEN (D474): Jumped awkwardly. Near the 100 Metres shifted in before being corrected by its rider M F Poon. Then shifted out and made contact with HARMONY FIRE. Sent for sampling post-race. GALLANT GOODY (H434): Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start. LEAN MASTER (H134): Over the concluding stages raced tight between OVERSUBSCRIBED and HARMONY FIRE which shifted out after being bumped by CIRCUIT SEVEN and as a result could not be ridden out to the finish of the event.
