The performance of TRUE LEGEND, which finished tailed out on the second consecutive occasion and in recent race starts, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, TRUE LEGEND will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a series of consecutive barrier trials and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. YELLOWFIN (G326): No report. ADEFILL (G317): Sent for sampling post-race. SO WE JOY (D082): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. FIERY DIAMOND (G022): No report. BEAUTYVERSE (H075): Near the 450 Metres went amiss when it sustained an injury to the left front leg and as a result was eased down from the event. Samples were taken from the horse. LESLIE (E471): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MASSIVE ACTION (E445): Sent for sampling post-race. AMAZING DUCK (H392): No report. FRANTANCK (H429): Over-raced in the early stages and got its head up near the 1200 Metres when being steadied. Close to the winning post Z Purton was obliged to stop riding and straighten his mount when it shifted in towards AMAZING DUCK. Sent for sampling post-race. NORDIC STAR (G433): Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 450 Metres was checked away from BEAUTYVERSE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. PERFECT TEAM (H120): Withdrawn on 17.2.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore). Before being allowed to race again, PERFECT TEAM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
