GREEN N WHITE (H186): Sent for sampling post-race. PRESTIGE ALWAYS (J300): No report. HUGE WAVE (J197): Jumped only fairly. KING MILES (J158): Prior to declaring weighed-in, the Stewards gave consideration whether the horse had been afforded a fair start. After interviewing Jockey C Y Ho, they established that as the start was effected KING MILES lowered its head and as a consequence missed the start. As the Stewards were satisfied that such occurrence was simultaneous to the start being effected, KING MILES was declared a starter. SIMPLE HEDGE (H237): Slow to begin. NEVER TOO SOON (E434): No report. BEAUTY GLORY (E459): Bumped at the start. In the Home Straight lay out and approaching the winning post became awkwardly placed close to KING MILES and as a consequence could not be ridden out to the finish. After the event, B Avdulla stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position but despite riding his mount along in the early stages BEAUTY GLORY failed to show sufficient pace to do so. LESLIE (E471): No report. NOT USUAL STAR (G396): After the event, L Hewitson stated that his mount enjoyed a good run during the race but failed to quicken when asked for an effort in the Home Straight and he could offer no excuse for his mount’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. TIMES TABLE (J230): Jumped only fairly and then bumped with BEAUTY GLORY. Approaching the 800 Metres hung out and appeared to strike the heels of SUPER GOLDI, resulting in TIMES TABLE blundering, becoming unbalanced and dislodging its rider M Chadwick. M Chadwick was treated by the medical officers and transported to hospital for further observation. Before being allowed to race again, TIMES TABLE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial around a bend in Hong Kong. SKY TRUST (J161): From the 400 Metres until the 300 Metres was held up for clear running behind ORIENTAL SMOKE. When improving to the inside of ORIENTAL SMOKE after the 300 Metres raced tight to the inside of that runner for some distance thereafter and approaching the 200 Metres made contact with ORIENTAL SMOKE. Sent for sampling post-race. SUPER GOLDI (H477): No report. ORIENTAL SMOKE (E467): Bumped approaching the 200 Metres. MOJAVE DESERT (J330): After the event, M L Yeung reported that from a wide barrier and his mount stepping up in distance, he was requested to take up a more forward position. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
