HE WAS ME (J535): Jumped only fairly. ENDEARED (H161): Sent for sampling post-race. BEAUTY MISSILE (H123): No report. MASTER PHOENIX (J516): No report. SHAMUS STORM (K031): Sent for sampling post-race. SKY VINO (K054): Approaching the 400 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted into a narrow run between BEAUTY MISSILE and BRILLIANT FIRE which was giving ground. GREAT SPIRIT (J155): Jumped only fairly. After the event, M F Poon stated that after settling behind midfield in the early stages, his mount was disadvantaged when the pace of the event between the 800 Metres and the 400 Metres was run outside of standard time which resulted in GREAT SPIRIT not travelling well during that section of the race. He added in the Home Straight GREAT SPIRIT was held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres when positioned behind BEAUTY MISSILE and in the circumstances he was not too disappointed with its performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. LEEDOX (J154): Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Raced keenly in the early stages. Noted to have bled from the left nostril after the race. An endoscopic examination conducted on LEEDOX confirmed the horse to be a bleeder. Before being allowed to race again, LEEDOX will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. BRILLIANT FIRE (J441): After the event, L Hewitson reported that the intention was to hold a more forward position preferably with cover. He said in the early stages when caught wide he was obliged to continue forward to cross PEARL OF PANG’S to avoid racing wide and as a result when placed under pressure in the Home Straight BRILLIANT FIRE failed to respond to his riding. PEARL OF PANG'S (J447): No report. LUCKY GOLD (G112): No report. ORIENTAL TYCOON (J112): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. CLEAR COURAGE (J257): The Veterinary Surgeon reported that CLEAR COURAGE was lame in the left hind leg after the race. Before being allowed to race again, CLEAR COURAGE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. LITTLE FAIRY (H206): Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
