ALLURING LAOS (J478): Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by SNOWTHORN which shifted out. ENJOY GOLF (J222): Sent for sampling post-race. APPEALING CITY (J491): No report. LA MOMENTO (J476): No report. MAGIC BEANS (J549): Jumped only fairly. MAGNIFIQUE (K141): Sent for sampling post-race. SNOWTHORN (K025): Shifted out at the start and was bumped. METRO WARRIOR (D387): Sent for sampling post-race. RUN RUN TIMING (H403): No report. SHINY RAPIDASH (J492): The Stewards deferred the declaration of weighed-in to ascertain whether SHINY RAPIDASH had been denied a fair start. After taking evidence from Jockey A Atzeni and Starter, Mr A Speechley, the Stewards found that SHINY RAPIDASH had been fractious prior to the start being effected. They further established that as the start was effected SHINY RAPIDASH turned its head across the inside barrier partition and as a result was slow to begin. As the Stewards were satisfied that this incident occurred simultaneously to the start being effected the horse was declared a starter. The Stewards ruled that SHINY RAPIDASH will be required to attend barrier practice to the satisfaction of the Starter prior to performing satisfactorily in consecutive barrier trials in Hong Kong before being allowed to race again. COUNTRY DANCER (H436): Approaching the 300 Metres was eased and shifted to the inside of RUN RUN TIMING to continue into clear running. SILVER SPURS (J043): No report.
