MASK RIDER (K169): After the event, K De Melo stated that at its first race start on the All Weather surface the horse was able to lead and run well. He said today when positioned behind PACKING BOLE his mount resented the kickback, did not fully stretch out and as a result raced in a disappointing manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

WONDERSTAR (J531): After the event, Apprentice E C W Wong reported that his instructions were to endeavour to hold an on-pace position but to avoid racing behind runners as WONDERSTAR does not appreciate racing when resenting kickback. He said his mount jumped awkwardly and despite riding it along in the early stages did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. He added WONDERSTAR did not appreciate racing on the "Wet Slow” track conditions.
GALAXY WITNESS (G110): Jumped only fairly.
MONTA FRUTTA (H455): Jumped only fairly.
SHINYU KOKOROE (K263): After the event, K Teetan reported that his mount did not appreciate racing on the "Wet Slow” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

UP WITH CHARM (K139): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. The performance of UP WITH CHARM, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, UP WITH CHARM will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
DRAGON AIR FORCE (J279): Sent for sampling post-race.
EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS (H170): After being placed in the barriers reared and got its right front leg over the partition for a considerable period. Acting on veterinary advice that EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS was not suitable to race, the horse was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. The barrier manners of EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subject to an official veterinary examination.
