NEVER PETER OUT (J200): After the event M L Yeung stated that the instructions were to attempt to find cover. He said when caught wide and without cover in the early stages NEVER PETER OUT raced too keenly and as a result did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. ARIEL (G223): No report. FIGHTING MACHINE (J015): Shortly after the start was crowded between ALLCASH and BUNDLE OF CHARM. DRAGON AIR FORCE (J279): Raced keenly in the early stages. Lay out under pressure in the Home Straight and over the concluding stages its rider M Chadwick was obliged to continue to correct his mount which restricted his ability to fully ride DRAGON AIR FORCE out to the finish. Sent for sampling post-race. ALLCASH (K190): No report. CHILL KAKA (J486): Sent for sampling post-race. FAST SPEED (K351): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. NORTHERN BEAST (H233): After the event Apprentice P N Wong stated that the instructions were to hold a forward position. She said NORTHERN BEAST was able to lead the event but gave ground in the Home Straight and, in her opinion, did not appreciate racing on the All Weather surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
