VIVA CHALEUR (G368): Made contact with the left side of its starting gate and became unbalanced. Briefly held up near the 400 Metres. Approaching the 100 Metres was held up behind FASHION LEGEND and was shifted to that runner’s outside to obtain clear running. Over the concluding stages VIVA CHALEUR shifted to the outside of MEEPMEEP to continue into clear running and as a result made contact with CELESTIAL HARMONY.
ALL ARE MINE (H293): Prior to declaring weighed-in the Stewards gave consideration to an application from Jockey Y L Chung that his mount had been denied a fair start. After taking evidence from Starter, Mr A Speechley, Trainer A S Cruz and Jockey Chung, the Stewards found that ALL ARE MINE reared simultaneously to the start being effected and lost ground and as a result was assisted by the starting gate handler. As the Stewards were satisfied that such occurrence occurred simultaneously to the start being effected the horse was declared a runner. The barrier manners of ALL ARE MINE were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ALL ARE MINE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.
LUCKY IMPACT (J337): Near the 1300 Metres was steadied to avoid FASHION LEGEND. Making the Home Turn lay out and was eased when positioned close to REGENCY WIN WIN.
