RED LION (H115): After the event H Bowman advised that the intention was to lead. He said when PRAY FOR MIR showed superior pace in the early stages he elected to allow that horse to cross, particularly having regard to the fact that his mount was carrying top weight of 135 lbs. He added in the Home Straight RED LION responded fairly to his riding. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CHANCHENG GLORY (H212): Sent for sampling post-race. BEAUTY ETERNAL (H008): Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres raced tight to the inside of JOHANNES BRAHMS and lay in when being shifted to the outside of CHANCHENG GLORY. BEAUTY JOY (E058): After the event Z Purton stated that his mount was unable to make up any ground in the Home Straight after settling back in the field. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HAPPY TOGETHER (G446): Bumped at the start. Shifted out near the 450 Metres, made contact with SUNLIGHT POWER and became unbalanced. SUNLIGHT POWER (H244): Near the 450 Metres was taken wider when bumped by HAPPY TOGETHER which shifted out. DIVANO (J142): Shifted in at the start, made contact with the right side of its barrier, became unbalanced and lost ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. ENCOUNTERED (G236): No report. JOHANNES BRAHMS (K014): After the event A Atzeni stated that his mount enjoyed a good run behind the lead in the early stages but was disappointing under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, JOHANNES BRAHMS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race. KA YING GENERATION (J075): Jumped only fairly. PRAY FOR MIR (J245): Bumped at the start. Sent for sampling post-race.
