MR COOL (K184): Sent for sampling post-race. VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (J079): On jumping was bumped on the hindquarters. WINNING DATA (H230): No report. WITHOUT DELAY (K262): Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by SOARING BRONCO which shifted out. Leaving the 150 Metres made contact with CALIFORNIA SUN due to both runners shifting ground, resulting in WITHOUT DELAY becoming unbalanced. GALLANT EPOCH (J451): Near the 400 Metres was bumped by PEARL OF PANG’S which shifted out to improve, resulting in GALLANT EPOCH becoming slightly unbalanced. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. CALIFORNIA SUN (J129): Leaving the 150 Metres made contact with WITHOUT DELAY due to both runners shifting ground. QUICK CONTRIBUTION (K112): Bumped at the start. Near the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between WINNING DATA and STAR BROSE. SOARING BRONCO (J162): Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. Near the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid MR COOL. Trainer P C Ng confirmed that the instructions from a wide barrier were to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages. STAR BROSE (J463): Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Between the 450 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running. SIGHT SUPREME (J258): Held up for some distance near the 400 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. HAPPY UNIVERSE (J533): No report. MR JUSTICE (K072): Bumped on jumping by QUICK CONTRIBUTION and became unbalanced. The performance of MR JUSTICE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. As this was the second consecutive occasion that the horse had finished tailed out, MR JUSTICE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in consecutive barrier trials and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be making an abnormal respiratory noise. SPECIAL HEDGE (H354): No report. PEARL OF PANG'S (J447): Shifted out near the 400 Metres and made contact with GALLANT EPOCH. Sent for sampling post-race.
