MR ENERGIA (J239): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race. FASHION LEGEND (J080): No report. SMART FIGHTER (H278): After the event L Ferraris stated that he was obliged to make some use of his mount in the early stages to go forward. He said the horse, which was having its first race start on the All Weather Track, may not appreciate racing on this surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SPEEDY TRIDENT (K230): Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race. SIGHT HAPPY (J261): After the event B Avdulla advised that he was instructed to take up a forward position. MAGNIAC (H141): After the race an endoscopic examination was conducted on MAGNIAC at the request of Trainer T P Yung. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, MAGNIAC will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. DAILY TROPHY (H283): Near the 350 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between SMART FIGHTER and SIGHT HAPPY. As a result DAILY TROPHY was then shifted to the outside of SIGHT HAPPY where it obtained clear running near the 250 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race. THUNDER BLINK (J019): No report. BEAUTY FORMULA (K066): On jumping made contact with the left side of the starting gate and lost ground. PRECIOUS HILL (J475): Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. After the event M L Yeung stated that his mount, which was having its first race start on the All Weather Track, did not appreciate racing on this surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. YEE CHEONG RAIDER (J176): After the event A Atzeni reported that his mount raced "flat” today. SUNNY DARLING (J171): Jumped awkwardly, made heavy contact with the left side of its barrier and as a result lost ground. After the event K De Melo stated that after losing ground at the start his mount settled further back in the field and was unable to make up ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
