DRAGON FOUR SEAS (J317): No report. POWER KOEPP (E301): Shifted out at the start and was bumped. SOVEREIGN FUND (J402): Over the final 350 Metres was badly held up and as a consequence could not be tested in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. GIANT LEAP (J143): Near the 150 Metres, when giving ground, became unbalanced when positioned tight to the inside of SOVEREIGN FUND when that runner was badly held up for clear running. REGAL GEM (K258): Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with LUCKY PLANET, resulting in REGAL GEM becoming unbalanced. A short distance later REGAL GEM was steadied to avoid GIANT LEAP (R Kingscote). R Kingscote was reprimanded. Near the 300 Metres was bumped by STORMING DRAGON when that runner shifted to the outside of THRIVING BROTHERS to improve. Sent for sampling post-race. STORMING DRAGON (J237): Bumped near the 300 Metres when it shifted out to improve. Sent for sampling post-race. KINGDOM OF RICHES (K079): Held up between the 300 Metres and the 150 Metres. LUCKY PLANET (H235): Crowded shortly after the start. Approaching the 1100 Metres shifted in and away from GIANT LEAP, made contact with THRIVING BROTHERS and became unbalanced. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. VICTOR THE RAPID (J393): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. KING OF FIGHTERS (K174): For a short distance approaching the 400 Metres raced tight to the inside of STORMING DRAGON. THRIVING BROTHERS (J396): Crowded shortly after the start by POWER KOEPP which shifted out. Approaching the 1100 Metres was contacted on the hindquarters by LUCKY PLANET which was racing tight to the inside of GIANT LEAP, resulting in THRIVING BROTHERS becoming unbalanced. MONARCH COUNTY (J421): Leaving the 1000 Metres MONARCH COUNTY, which was racing keenly, was steadied to avoid GIANT LEAP (R Kingscote) which shifted in when not clear. R Kingscote was severely reprimanded. Over-raced throughout the early and middle stages and in the Back Straight was steadied to avoid DRAGON FOUR SEAS. Badly held up between the 350 Metres and the 100 Metres. Jockey A Atzeni was fined the sum of $5,000 for weighing in 2 lbs overweight on return to scale. Sent for sampling post-race.
