NOBLE PURSUIT (H324): Jumped only fairly. After the event, L Ferraris stated that from an inside barrier he was instructed to hold an on-pace position to take advantage of his favourable barrier draw. LOVERO (H451): After the event, Y L Chung stated that he could offer no explanation for his mount’s failure to finish the race off strongly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. AESTHETICISM (H289): No report. EMBRACES (J276): Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race. LEAN HERO (G402): After the event, K C Leung stated that from a wide barrier he was requested to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. He added that after settling back in the field LEAN HERO was unable to make up ground when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. WITHOUT DELAY (K262): Sustained a minor laceration to its left front leg whilst being transported to the course, examined and passed suitable to race. Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the right side of its barrier and lost ground. HIGHLAND RAHY (J298): Sent for sampling post-race. LUCKY TOUCH (J203): No report. STURDY RUBY (H207): No report. SMART TRIO (J538): After the event, M F Poon stated that with his mount stepping up in distance and drawn well, he was asked to hold an on-pace position, similar to the manner in which the horse barrier trialed on 8 April 2025. He said when SMART TRIO commenced well and showed good pace in the early stages he was able to lead without being pressured to do so. A AMERIC TE SPECSO (H037): Slow to begin. Sent for sampling post-race. FORTUNATE SON (J446): Near the 250 Metres was disappointed for clear running between NOBLE PURSUIT and EMBRACES which shifted in. FORTUNATE SON was then shifted to the inside of LOVERO to obtain clear running approaching the 200 Metres.
