FREE PONY (K229): After the event C L Chau advised that from the outside barrier he was instructed to go forward. Trainer T P Yung confirmed the instructions issued and stated that the horse, down in grade, he had asked Jockey Chau to follow the expected leader MEGA BONUS which had drawn next to FREE PONY across.
FORTUNE WHISKEY (J153): Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres.
SIGHT HAPPY (J261): Shortly after the start was bumped by NEW POWER.

KING LOTUS (K186): Bumped at the start. Sent for sampling post-race.
VICTOR THE RAPID (J393): Shortly after the start was crowded by MEGA BONUS which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. After the event H Bentley reported that his mount hung in in the Home Straight and proved difficult to ride out to the finish of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
RISING PHOENIX (J498): After the event A Atzeni stated that his mount, which is relatively inexperienced, raced greenly throughout the event and would derive benefit from tonight’s race. He added that he was satisfied with the finishing effort of the horse. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CHAMPION METHOD (H366): Jumped awkwardly. Shortly after the start raced tight between RISING PHOENIX and FORTUNE WHISKEY, both of which shifted ground slightly. After the event M Chadwick reported that the instructions were to be more forward. He stated that CHAMPION METHOD did not show sufficient pace to comply with his instructions and he recommended to connections to step the horse up in distance for its next race start.
NEW POWER (H325): Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Held up on the Home Turn and on straightening was shifted to the inside of FREE PONY to obtain clear running.
