MY FLYING ANGEL (J174): After the event Z Purton reported that his mount did not stretch out during the running of the race and he had some concerns with its action. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a wound to its left hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, MY FLYING ANGEL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. KING OBERON (H407): Bumped at the start. Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race. SPICY SO SMART (G203): After the event A Hamelin reported that his mount raced "flat”. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. TAIHANG SCENERY (J314): After being crossed by RUBY SAILING near the 800 Metres commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied away from RUBY SAILING. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. KA YING POWER (H169): Bumped at the start. In the middle stages raced keenly and approaching the 800 Metres shifted out when being steadied away from MY FLYING ANGEL. Near the 250 Metres rider C L Chau dropped his whip. SOLAR UP (J134): Fractious in the starting gates and jumped awkwardly. After the event, M Chadwick reported that his mount failed to run on in the Home Straight and had a tendency to shy out away from the inside. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. MODEST GENTLEMAN (G352): Near the 900 Metres was steadied when crowded by TAIHANG SCENERY which shifted in and away slightly from RUBY SAILING (Apprentice P N Wong) which shifted in when not clear before being corrected. Apprentice Wong was severely reprimanded and advised she must ensure that she leaves sufficient racing room for runners to her inside. Approaching the 700 Metres was checked to avoid TAIHANG SCENERY. Between the 450 Metres and the 300 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running. Over the final 150 Metres lay out under pressure. RUBY SAILING (H347): Sent for sampling post-race. URBAN TRIUMPH (H200): No report. FALCON COURT (J056): After the event K Teetan could offer no explanation for his mount’s failure to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. FLYING PHANTOM (J086): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. TIMESTORM (G109): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
