STORM RIDER (J027): Sent for sampling post-race. HAPPY FAT CAT (G166): No report. POWER KOEPP (E301): For a short distance near the 300 Metres was held up for clear running behind TRIUMPHANT MORE. Over the final 100 Metres shifted in under pressure, resulting in its rider A Badel having to straighten approaching the winning post. Sent for sampling post-race. CHARMING LEGEND (K127): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, CHARMING LEGEND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. KYRUS DRAGON (H396): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Over the concluding stages was hampered when taken in by STORMING DRAGON (B Thompson) which shifted in under riding. B Thompson was reprimanded. TRIUMPHANT MORE (J489): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. DRAGON FOUR SEAS (J317): Sent for sampling post-race. SIR CHARGE (K361): Jumped awkwardly and shortly afterwards made contact with EASON and then raced tight to the inside of EASON for some distance thereafter. Approaching the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid POWER KOEPP (A Badel) which shifted in when not quite clear. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. EASON (G061): Bumped shortly after the start and became unbalanced. EASON then raced tight to the outside of SIR CHARGE for some distance thereafter. STORMING DRAGON (J237): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. YOUNG ARROW (J401): Over the concluding stages lay in under pressure, resulting in its rider A Atzeni having to correct his mount. EVERSTAR (K264): After the event H Bentley reported that his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and did not settle. He added over the concluding stages EVERSTAR could not be ridden out to the finish when held up between HAPPY FAT CAT and TRIUMPHANT MORE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
