GIMME FIVE (J099): Sent for sampling post-race. EXCELLENT DADDY (E321): Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between LUCKY GENERATIONS and TAIHANG SCENERY which shifted out. ALL EYES ON ME (J453): Shortly after the start was crowded between FALCON COURT and SOLAR UP which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. ISLAND GOLDEN (H018): After the event K C Leung reported that in the Home Straight his mount was reluctant to improve to the inside of GUSTY FIGHTER when placed under pressure. After the race an endoscopic examination was conducted ISLAND GOLDEN on at the request of Trainer K L Man. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, ISLAND GOLDEN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. TAIHANG SCENERY (J314): Shifted out at the start and was bumped. In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 600 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from DOUBLE BINGO. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the outside of FLYING PHANTOM. LUCKY GENERATIONS (J338): Bumped at the start and became unbalanced. Near the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid ISLAND GOLDEN when racing keenly. LUCKY GENERATIONS then continued to race keenly for some distance thereafter. Between the 300 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running. SOLAR UP (J134): Shortly after the start shifted out, made contact with ALL EYES ON ME and became unbalanced. GUSTY FIGHTER (J029): No report. FALCON COURT (J056): Shortly after the start was bumped by ALL EYES ON ME and then was steadied when racing tight to the inside of SONIC BOOM. SONIC BOOM (H144): After the event M L Yeung reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and this was the reason for its disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. DOUBLE BINGO (J309): Near the 300 Metres raced in restricted room between GUSTY FIGHTER and SONIC BOOM which shifted in slightly. Noted to have sustained a minor laceration to its left hind leg. Sent for sampling post-race. FLYING PHANTOM (J086): Making the turn after the 600 Metres was bumped by TAIHANG SCENERY and became unbalanced when taken wider by TAIHANG SCENERY which shifted out when racing keenly.
