COLONEL (D090): After the event Apprentice E C W Wong stated that from a wide barrier the instructions were to take up a forward position. Noted to have sustained a small abrasion to the left hind leg after the race. NOBLE GO (K053): Approaching the 150 Metres was disappointed for clear running between HAPPY TANGO and COLONEL and as a result could not be ridden out to the finish of the event when held up behind COLONEL and NOTTHESILLYONE. KA YING POWER (H169): Bumped soon after the start. Near the 200 Metres was eased to avoid YOU’REMYEVERYTHING (K C Leung) which shifted out when not quite clear. K C Leung was advised to exercise more care. After the event M F Poon stated that his mount would appreciate being stepped up in distance for its next race start. NOTTHESILLYONE (J383): Jumped only fairly. Over the concluding stages was bumped by ACE TALENT which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race. SUPER ELITE (H247): From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. MODEST GENTLEMAN (G352): From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 250 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind NOBLE GO. SO AWESOME (D258): In the early stages raced keenly and approaching the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid GLORIOUS EXPERT. Leaving the 200 Metres shifted out and away from YOU’REMYEVERYTHING. After the event M Chadwick stated that his mount finished the race off reasonably well and he was not too disappointed with its performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. YOU'REMYEVERYTHING (E413): Jumped only fairly. When questioned K C Leung stated that after the 300 Metres his intention was to improve between NOBLE GO and HAPPY TANGO but when that run did not develop he then elected to shift to the outside of HAPPY TANGO to endeavour to improve to that runner’s outside. He added when he was of the opinion there was not sufficient room to improve between HAPPY TANGO and GLORIOUS EXPERT, he then shifted to the outside of GLORIOUS EXPERT and DOUBLE SHOW to obtain clear running and as a result YOU’REMYEVERYTHING was held up for clear running between the 250 Metres and approaching the 100 Metres. GLORIOUS EXPERT (J028): Raced keenly in the early stages. HAPPY TANGO (D075): No report. ACE TALENT (H046): Bumped soon after the start. Shifted out over the concluding stages and made contact with NOTTHESILLYONE. Sent for sampling post-race. DOUBLE SHOW (G250): Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
