FINAL ANSWER began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped MY MEMORY. HORSESHOE FORTUNE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, YOUNG SUPREME got its head up when proving difficult to settle. YOUNG SUPREME continued to get its head up until passing the 800 Metres when awkwardly placed close to the heels of LONGWAH RISING. M Chadwick, the rider of first placed, MULTIGLORY, was reminded of his obligation to ride his mounts out right to the end of the race. He was also advised of the consequences should a jockey fail to ride a horse to the end of the race which consequently costs that horse a placing. A veterinary inspection of MY MEMORY after the race did not show any significant findings. MULTIGLORY and INVINCIBLEKINDNESS were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that YOUNG SUPREME had sustained a laceration to the right front cannon. Before being allowed to race again, YOUNG SUPREME will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
