SUPER BOBO blundered at the start. SURE CHAMP was slow to begin. In the early stages, SURE CHAMP was caught racing wide and without cover and after the 1400 Metres was allowed to stride into a more forward position. Near the 1300 Metres, REAL SPECIALIST got its head up on a number of occasions when awkwardly placed close to the heels of MEDALLIST. After the 700 Metres, WRATH OF FIRE and NICE FOLKS bumped as NICE FOLKS attempted to shift to the outside of the heels of REAL SPECIALIST after being awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse. After the 700 Metres, SURE CHAMP got its head on the side and hung out. SURE CHAMP continued to hang out until after straightening. The racing manners of SURE CHAMP were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SURE CHAMP will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend. Near the 500 Metres, NICE FOLKS and WRATH OF FIRE bumped. Throughout the race, WRATH OF FIRE travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of MEDALLIST after the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being permitted to race again, MEDALLIST will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of TRES MAGNIFIQUE after the race did not show any significant findings. REAL SPECIALIST and CAI BAO IN were sent for sampling.
