WONDERFUL TIGER, which was fractious and reared in the barriers, will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test before being allowed to race again. WHAT MAN HORSE bounded in the air at the start and consequently was slow to begin. WONDERFUL TIGER and THE JAZZ began only fairly. GENERAL DINO shifted out at the start and bumped MONGOLIAN KING which in turn shifted out and bumped LET’S’ TAKE IT EASY. Approaching the 1100 Metres, SUPER MAN was steadied away from the heels of VICTORY DAY (Apprentice H T Mo) which shifted in when not properly clear. Apprentice Mo was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground. Near the 850 Metres, LUCKY GUY raced tight inside BEAUTY FLARE which lay in despite the efforts of its rider. TANG FLEMING travelled wide and without cover until passing the 800 Metres. At the 600 Metres, WONDERFUL TIGER was bumped and taken wider by MONGOLIAN KING which shifted out. At the entrance to the Straight, WONDERFUL TIGER was bumped by GENERAL DINO which shifted out. HAPPY CHEERS, which was following, was shifted in away from the heels of WONDERFUL TIGER. Passing the 300 Metres, GAMECHANGERS and SUPER MAN brushed due both horses shifting ground. Passing the 200 Metres, SUPER MAN was crowded for room outside GAMECHANGERS (S Clipperton) which shifted out before being corrected by its rider. S Clipperton was reprimanded and advised that he should have reacted quicker than he did to straighten GAMECHANGERS. In this incident, SUPER MAN shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of TANG FLEMING which became unbalanced. A veterinary inspection of TANG FLEMING immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, TANG FLEMING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of GENERAL DINO immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. LUCKY GUY, MONGOLIAN KING and INTREPIC were sent for sampling. <5/6/2017 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Officer reported that HAPPY CHEERS was lame in its left hind leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY CHEERS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
