SUPER SPRINTER began only fairly and then was hard ridden in the early stages to take up a forward position. SUPER SPRINTER subsequently travelled wide and without cover throughout the race and in the Straight gave ground.
RIGHT HONOURABLE began only fairly and then when being steadied to obtain cover was crowded for room between MAGNETISM and LET US WIN which was taken in by HARD BALL GET.
IMPERIAL GALLANTRY shifted out at the start and bumped MAGNETISM.
From wide barriers, GOLD LAND and SUPER LUCKY were steadied in the early stages and shifted cross behind runners.
Despite being hard ridden in the early stages, LET US WIN failed to muster speed.
Approaching and passing the 1300 Metres, BIG BANG BONG travelled very keenly and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of HARD BALL GET when being steadied to obtain cover behind that horse.
Passing the 500 Metres, SUPER LUCKY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of RIGHT HONOURABLE when racing tight inside ISHVARA.
In the early part of the Straight, ISHVARA and IMPERIAL GALLANTRY raced tight as ISHVARA shifted to the outside of SUPER SPRINTER to obtain clear running.
Over the latter stages of the Straight, LET US WIN lay in under pressure.
GOLD LAND lay in under pressure in the Straight and proved difficult to ride.
IMPERIAL GALLANTRY also lay in under pressure in the Straight.
A veterinary inspection of SUPER SPRINTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LET’S TAKE IT EASY and IMPERIAL GALLANTRY were sent for sampling.
