APPLAUSE shifted in at the start and bumped ROCKAGE which lost ground when crowded onto LONDON MASTER which became unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters. After this, ROCKAGE and APPLAUSE were shifted across behind runners. FANTASTIC FABIO shifted out at the start and bumped MISCHIEVOUS SUNDAE. Also from a wide barrier, TEST THE STARS was steadied shortly after the start and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover. Shortly after the start, FLYING FORCE was crowded for room between CHEER WIN and HAPPY GUY, both of which shifted ground and were promptly directed away from FLYING FORCE to relieve the tightening to that horse. ROCKAGE made the turn near the 1050 Metres awkwardly. Making the turn passing the 600 Metres, FLYING FORCE commenced to travel keenly and shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of CHEER WIN and in doing so bumped LONDON MASTER which consequently became awkwardly placed inside the heels of BEAUTY ENERGY. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, ROCKAGE got its head on the side and shifted out towards the heels of TEST THE STARS. Approaching the 200 Metres, LONDON MASTER was shifted to the inside of MISCHIEVOUS SUNDAE to continue improving. Over the concluding stages, FLYING FORCE and HAPPY GUY (M Chadwick) raced tight, resulting in M Chadwick’s use of the whip being restricted. Throughout the race, HAPPY COOPERATION travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. ROMAN ODYSSEY, FANTASTIC FABIO and APPLAUSE were sent for sampling. <22/11/2018 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that CHEER WIN was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, CHEER WIN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
