After being loaded into the barriers, GIFT OF LIFELINE became fractious, reared and got its left front leg over the adjoining partition. GIFT OF LIFELINE was removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was not suitable to race. Acting on this advice, GIFT OF LIFELINE was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Before being allowed to race again, GIFT OF LIFELINE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
ALL IN MIND shifted out at the start, resulting in JOYFUL HEART being crowded onto EVER LAUGH.
CHARIZARD and TOP SCORE made contact on jumping.
GUY DRAGON and PRECISE EXPRESS also bumped on jumping.
From wide barriers, CHARIZARD and GUY DRAGON were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 1000 Metres, LA YAKFI was left racing wide and without cover.
JOYFUL HEART was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Passing the 400 Metres, GENERAL’S DELIGHT was shifted out away from the heels of TAKE WHAT YOU NEED which became unbalanced when being directed to the outside of TOP SCORE to improve.
BUNDLE OF DELIGHT was inclined to lay in in the Straight.
Passing the winning post, GENERAL’S DELIGHT shifted out under pressure and bumped ALL IN MIND.
A veterinary inspection of PRECISE EXPRESS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ALL IN MIND and JOYFUL HEART were sent for sampling.
