CHIU CHOW SPIRIT (H175): Bumped at the start. From the 400 Metres until the 100 Metres was badly held up for clear running. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. I AM THE BOSS (H446): Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped heavily by SAVVY CHIC which shifted in. Near the 400 Metres was steadied to avoid the heels of HAPPY DAILY when that runner was not improving and then was unable to obtain clear running until near the 350 Metres. SWEET ENCOUNTER (G426): Leaving the 800 Metres was steadied away from MAJESTIC SPEED and then raced wide and without cover thereafter. Lay in under pressure in the Home Straight and near the 250 Metres was corrected by its rider A Atzeni. Sent for sampling post-race. GLOBAL HARMONY (G337): Slow to begin. From the 400 Metres to the 300 Metres was held up for clear running. Sent for sampling post-race. VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (J079): Bumped at the start. KAHOLO ANGEL (H216): No report. FLYING MOJITO (G412): Slow to begin and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. MAJESTIC SPEED (J018): A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea. MIDORI BURLY (J083): After the 400 Metres became held up for clear running behind SAVVY CHIC which was giving ground and did not obtain clear running until near the 250 Metres. After the race, Z Purton reported that his mount was not suited by the middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. SUGAR BALL (H394): No report. LOST CHILD (G461): Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the right side of its barrier and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Lay in and away from SWEET ENCOUNTER near the 250 Metres. SAVVY CHIC (G261): Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Near the 300 Metres, when hanging in, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of KAHOLO ANGEL which shifted in slightly. Continued to hang in for the remainder of the event when giving ground and proved difficult to ride out. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. RAGNARR (H297): No report. HAPPY DAILY (E294): Near the 250 Metres LOST CHILD shifted in and away from SWEET ENCOUNTER when taken in by SWEET ENCOUNTER (A Atzeni), resulting in HAPPY DAILY having to be steadied when crowded for room. Whilst the Stewards accepted that A Atzeni had made some effort to straighten his mount, he was advised that in similar circumstances he would be expected to react sooner than he did on this occasion.
