Steward Report Predict Pace Map
SPORTS LEGEND (H456): Sent for sampling post-race. HOSS (H055): Jumped only fairly. MASTER STROKE (J036): Jumped awkwardly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. The performance of MASTER STROKE, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MASTER STROKE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. E UNIVERSE (H151): Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with EASY SNIP. EASY SNIP (G211): Bumped on jumping. Leaving the 1100 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded by E UNIVERSE which shifted in and away from DAN ATTACK which was racing tight to the outside of MY INTELLIGENT. When questioned regarding his riding out over the concluding stages, C L Chau stated that passing the 50 Metres EASY SNIP lay out which resulted in him having to correct his mount. He said afterwards he was able to continue to ride his mount out but approaching the winning post he was concerned that his mount would continue to shift out which restricted his ability to ride it out to the finish of the event. Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that his riding did not affect the horse’s finishing position, he was nonetheless reminded of his obligation to ensure that he fully rides his mounts out to the finish of the race. Sent for sampling post-race. SUPER CHARIZZARD (J184): Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 1000 Metres was steadied when it commenced to race keenly and was positioned close to YOUTH POWER. When questioned, K Teetan stated that after entering the Home Straight it was his intention to shift to the outside of YOUTH POWER to obtain clear running. He stated that as he endeavoured to do so SUPER CHARIZZARD hung in and was reluctant to shift to that runner’s outside which resulted in him then improving to the inside of YOUTH POWER. He added over the concluding stages as he endeavoured to improve between GORGEOUS VITALITY and YOUTH POWER, YOUTH POWER shifted in and made contact with his mount which resulted in SUPER CHARIZZARD having difficulty obtaining clear running over the concluding stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. THE KHAN (H489): Jumped only fairly and from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Inside the 100 Metres was shifted to the inside of DAN ATTACK to continue into clear running. GORGEOUS VITALITY (G051): No report. YOUTH POWER (H358): After the race, K C Leung reported that his mount hung in throughout the event. DAN ATTACK (H317): Sent for sampling post-race. SUPER AXIOM (E105): No report. MY INTELLIGENT (G031): Over the concluding stages was inconvenienced when taken wider by DAN ATTACK when that runner shifted out slightly.
