Three weeks ago, this runner delivered a striking performance over the Sha Tin 1400m, settling back from an average break before unleashing a strong late rally with impressive sectionals. A subsequent turf trial over a mile proved less conclusive; racing without any weight concession and failing to show much speed within its group. Despite securing a favourable inside barrier draw, opportunities appeared limited.
