Two weeks ago, this horse ran satisfactorily over Sha Tin 1400m, jumping slowly and settling towards the back before making a move in the middle stages with a strong pull. In a recent trial over Sha Tin 1200m, carrying a two-pound reduction in weight, the sectionals weren’t impressive, and drawing an outside barrier is unfavorable. Although capable of tracking the pace, its finishing kick appears to be lacking, suggesting it may not be suited for this race.
