STELLAR SWIFT

On March 25th, during a turf trial over 1000m, the horse responded well to urging in the final section. Four weeks ago, it finished fourth in a Sha Tin 1400m race, settling comfortably with a steady pace but lacking a strong finish, losing by half a length. A recent barrier trial didn't show exceptional form. Making its debut at Happy Valley over 1200m this time without any weight reduction, despite drawing a good barrier and possessing the potential for a strong finishing kick within the group, the jockey has some understanding of the horse’s abilities, and trainer/jockey relationship is solid. The horse had gate work-outs before racing but the distance may not suit it, leaving its chances uncertain; hoping to finish near the front.
