Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over Sha Tin 1400m, slow out of the gates and settling towards the back with a steady pace but failing to accelerate. It finished well-beaten. Returning to Happy Valley over a mile, carrying the same weight as last time and facing similar competition, it will likely be held up in this race, however its finishing kick isn’t strong enough to compete with rivals. The horse's current form is unfavorable and there appears to be limited synergy between trainer and jockey. Having won three times at this distance previously, drawing a decent barrier, Luke Ferraris takes the ride and seems to have some understanding of the horse’s capabilities, suggesting potential for improvement.
