Three weeks ago, the horse put in a decent performance over 1200m on dirt, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before finishing fourth with a strong late surge. Another turf trial over 1200m was completed, and this time will race off three pounds less weight. The plan is to settle back in the field, however, its finishing kick may not be as strong as rivals, making the situation less favorable. Despite this, comparable times within its group are encouraging, and an inside barrier draw offers some advantage – a potential dark horse contender.
