On March 4th, the horse completed a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m, showing improvement with sections of 4-4-1 and finishing strongly along the straight. Four weeks ago, it ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley sprint, jumping slowly and settling towards the back before accelerating well, ultimately finishing seventh beaten two and a half lengths. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight progress. Now stepping up to Sha Tin over 1400m with a one-pound weight reduction, despite the distance potentially not suiting its running style requiring it to race from behind, the horse has drawn an advantageous inside barrier and is expected to make a forward move.
