Three weeks ago, this horse recorded a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m, finishing (1-1-2) with a relaxed pace and showing remaining stamina. Five weeks ago, in a Happy Valley mile, the performance was dismal; a slow start saw it settle towards the rear, but lacked acceleration and finished poorly. A subsequent barrier trial showed moderate form. Now stepping back to Sha Tin over 1400m with a two-pound weight reduction, facing unfavorable competition within its group and drawing an outside barrier, it’s not considered a strong contender this time.
