ALL ROUND WINNER

On March 3rd (dirt trial 1200m: 5-6-4), the horse showed a steady pace, quickening slightly over the final two sections. On March 25th (turf trial 1000m: 5-4-3), it responded well to urging in the second section and secured second place. A further turf trial at Happy Valley on April 14th (1000m: 8-8-6) saw some improvement with a late surge. This Australian PP has a MA288 predicted rating of 40. It has eight overseas starts, achieving one win and one second place with three third placings, typically racing in mid-division. It requires time to accelerate but shows good form once it does. Three barrier trials this season have shown slight improvement, and recent trackwork looks positive. First start today; not without a chance.
