Ten days ago (April 10th), in a dirt trial over 1200m, the horse maintained pace and showed a strong final burst. Four weeks prior, over the same distance, it delivered an impressive performance, jumping slowly but finishing with fast sections to secure fourth place, beaten by only one and a half lengths – demonstrating high potential. A subsequent barrier trial didn’t reveal any improvement. This time, the horse needs to carry two pounds more. Although it has performed well at this distance and comparable times within its group, drawing an inside barrier, a hold-up tactic is expected, relying on a strong finishing kick. The jockey possesses some understanding of the horse's capabilities, and the trainer-jockey combination seems harmonious, but the overall situation isn’t particularly favorable; a patient approach will be key.
