Four weeks ago, this horse ran satisfactorily over Sha Tin 2000m, jumping moderately and settling towards the rear before making a mid-race move to quicken over the final two sections, chasing Laser Power. A recent trial showed no improvement. Another turf trial over 1800m saw the horse receive a one-pound weight relief and draw an outside barrier. While expected to run from behind, its finishing kick isn’t competitive. Although having some form over this distance, rivals are similarly timed and unlikely to pose a significant challenge.
