On April 15th, during a Conghua turf trial over 1200m (sections: 3-2-1), the horse showed strong and willing acceleration while moving up on the turn. Five weeks ago, it delivered an impressive performance over 2000m at Sha Tin, jumping moderately but settling towards the back before finishing with fast sections in the final two furlongs. A subsequent barrier trial indicated slight improvement. After its import, it will race again over 1400m at Sha Tin this time, benefiting from an 11-pound weight reduction and drawing an inside barrier. The anticipated racing style is to settle back and unleash a strong finishing kick; the horse appears in good form during morning trackwork and possesses a competitive edge relative to other contenders, potentially making it a dark horse.
